I only played the son's route, but in all honesty I couldn't really follow what was happening. The pacing was everywhere, the dialogue was weird, things kept happening without any real input on my part, I have no idea what's going on.

I feel the same way. Just when i got interested, the game ended. And I would pay for full game with pleasure, but when nearly nothing happened in 8 parts I guess it will be the same in IX too :/. Dont get me wrong i kinda like how its goin slowly, just the slow development is problem there then :) (I mean if u develop so long, game have to move a bit more)
Thanks for other games tips, I will check it out. I do play Radiant (best looking game I played so far), Polarity, Halfway house and some others. Just was a bit disappointed by DF, because 8 chapters here feel like 2-3 in the other games.
I was a bit surprised that the Linux version, which is on Steam, didn't appear to be on Itch.io. For those interested there is a Linux version that gets downloaded with the Windows version of the demo and it runs fine for me so far. Just have to run the .sh file.
I wanted to say a few things about this retard people and amazing developer, first off all you cannot say something like "Do not patreon or donate this developer because he promised to bla bla bla" you might not know the developer is a human also, he has a life, responsibilites, problems and he might be not able to consume his time to develop this game, stop fuckin judging by your small brains, to the point i have really enjoyed the game and the story line well made congrats to who made this amazing game, to be honest i started to play this game because of fuck someone with some story but this game is really deep, sad and so fuckin emotional..I didn't fuck anyone because of i didn't want to dive into incest relationships and i literally died when i prevent a girl from a suicide attemption, i wish i could meet her for once time more in this story...
I like this game very much but the creater is too slow last update that is chaper 9 was released on 1 jan 2019 i mean this is too much i dont think dev is going to complete this game in his/her entire life

So for the son will it eventually become possible to get Karen to seven stars I ask sense almost everyone but the mother seems to lean towards the father. And I know the father is with Karen while the son is with the mom so will he still be able to fully romance her or will it be extremely difficult? Basically is it going to be possible for the son to dance Karen or will he really only be able to romance his mom?
Please do not patreon or in anyway give money to this dev, reasons he is about 2 years without any content keep promising a update of the game which is nowhere to be found, selling his game has a full fledge porn game when there is no porn whatsover its a game with story but has bland=Empty game and for someone getting over 5k dollars and not even once putting a update its a shame and scammy cause all he does his show previews of images that has nothing to do with the game.
Serious question for the Dev's here and I may be wrong. Is there a reason the son seems to be getting the short of the stick via interaction with all of the characters? The father's route choices all seem to have a realistic effect that can help impact how the characters feel about him, but the sons route choices seem to always end up getting him nowhere. Is this intentional or am I correct in noticing this? Edit: I guess that wasn't really a question was it? Sorry about that. My question is more like, why does it feel like the son's route feels stagnant where as the fathers route seems to push the story along?
Dude, I thought I was the only one that noticed that. I feel like it might've been created with the Dad at first, then they decided to add the son in a bit later or something.
Cause the sons story feels more like a side mission to a larger game than an actual part of it. It's like to help you understand where and how these characters ended up somewhere based on the dad's actions.

Nice visuals, but a bit too dark to view properly IMO. I like the idea of making these choices, but I wish it was clearer where things were going. It's also a very long term game to get any satisfaction. It's taking so long to develop relationships, I'm not sure when or if anything will ever happen between the characters...
Nope! I too was waiting for the updates. it has been a year since its last update. Luckily this is not one of those dropped games. They also released a x mas bonus edition. U should check it out.
